In this week’s podcast I ask, “What’s the harm?” We often ask this question when we try to disguise our complacency as decency; yet our apathy has consequences.
Learning to pay attention is the antidote to complacency and the first step towards developing wisdom. We are all too often wilfully ignorant of the facts, because we seek peace rather than truth.
The “Call of Wisdom” made in the Book of Proverbs in the Bible, shows us that human nature has not changed for thousands of years. Perhaps it’s time we started to listen.
