In this week’s podcast I talk about the nature of and reason for suffering in the world. Many people believe that the presence of suffering in the world proves that God doesn’t exist, but this argument doesn’t tackle the reason why there is suffering in the first place.
Original Sin and the inherent corruption of human beings is the reason given by some religions, but this can make us feel perpetually guilty for being alive.
Is there an answer to this age old question that can help give meaning to our lives? Can spiritual teachings and stories sustain us through our pain?
