In this week’s podcast I talk about freedom without consequences. It sounds like a movie title, doesn’t it? And in a way it is a fairy tale, yet this concept underpins so many of the social movements towards change. We spend so much time trying to change the behaviour of others, either in our personal lives or the collective, because we feel offended or threatened. Yet these feelings come from a deep sense of unworthiness; an unconscious feeling that we all have in common.
In this week’s podcast, we dive into the murky waters of what Carl Jung called, our Shadow. This part of us resides in our subconscious mind and is made up of everything we have suppressed. It can rise up and takeover our lives, high-jack our relationships and in extreme cases cause personality disorders. Yet if we give it our attention, it can become a road map towards health and happiness.
