Murky Waters

In this week’s podcast I talk about justice and corruption, with reference to miscarriages of justice and systemic abuse that we would rather not look into. The subject matter may make us feel angry and helpless, we may want to bury our heads in the sand and pretend the darkest elements of humanity don’t exist, but we owe it to the victims  to become informed.

The process of awakening means letting go of our illusions and facing the truth, no matter how unpalatable. As with all situations in life, if we don’t know the truth we are living our lives with blinkers on. While we don’t want to wallow in the murky waters of the collective shadow, we do need to know how easy it is for our spirit to be corrupted.

I decided to list all the resources I mentioned in the podcast, so if you do decide to look into these subjects you can see the patterns that emerge.
